What is collected
Three things only: the email address you give the newsletter, the name, email and message you send through the contact form, and the name, email and text you leave on a comment. Nothing else is gathered about you.
Why it is collected
Newsletter emails are used to send occasional entries and updates. Contact details are used to reply to you. Comment details are used to attribute and moderate the comment; comment email addresses are never published.
Who it is shared with
No one. Data is not sold, rented or passed to advertisers. It is stored with the hosting and database providers that run this site, and nowhere else.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. A single technical cookie may be used to keep an administrator signed in. If that changes, this notice changes with it and a consent prompt appears first.
Your choices
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link that removes your address immediately. You can also write via the contact form to request a copy of what is held about you, or to have it deleted. Deletion requests are honoured without argument.
Comment moderation
Comments are reviewed before they appear. Spam, abuse and promotional content are removed. Disagreement is welcome; contempt is not.
